Homemade Shamrock Shake
Hey! It’s time to take a break. Indulge in something rich, creamy, sweet and FUN! Time for a homemade shamrock shake. No need to drive anywhere to buy one. You can make your own at home.
Our weather is finally spring-like. We have warm days but cold nights. I can handle that. Right when the temps hit 75 degrees in the middle of the day, it’s time to reach for your blender and whip up your very own St. Patrick’s creation.
The recipe is very simple. It also only calls for a few ingredients. I like to make mine with whole milk but it can also be prepared with 2%, non-fat and lactose free milk. If you don’t have peppermint extract, add a couple of York Peppermint Patties to the blend. It’s just as minty and delicious with a touch of chocolate.
