Sweet smoky and spicy in every bite: Sweet Chipotle Pecans

Are you ready for the holidays? I am starting to see in social media lots of decorated Christmas trees already. Why not? It’s 2020, anything goes.

Since Thanksgiving and Christmas will eventually meld together this year, I decided to share this recipe of sweet chipotle pecans to get you through the rest of the year. I like to make big batches of these extremely addictive candied pecans and enjoy them while I decorate, work or cook. They also make a wonderful edible gift. You can package them up in cellophane bags, tied with a cute holiday ribbon or place them in an elegant, festive jar.

What I love most about these candied pecans is the smokiness of the chipotle combined with the sweetness of Imperial Sugar Confectioners Powdered Sugar. You can omit the spicy powder for a kid-friendly version, too. This tasty snack is ready in just a few minutes.
