Fruity Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 3 small avocados, peeled, pitted and flesh removed
  • 1 Serrano chile, finely diced
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup Honeycrisp apple, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Red Bartlett pear, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine onion, cilantro, avocado flesh, Serrano, lime juice and salt. Mash with fork combining all ingredients. Fold in cranberries, apple and pear pieces until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips or spread on tostadas.
