Cheese Danish | Danes de Queso
The Monday after daylight savings time. Fun times. I must dealt with it in my own fashion and enjoy an easy and quick pastry with a hot cup of coffee. I love a good cheese danish and I found a way to make my own in just under 30 minutes.
I made a delicious cream cheese filling with Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar, filled some puff pastry with the sweet mixture and baked. I made sure to brush them with some egg wash to give it a golden crispy finish. To take these luscious pastries to another level, I made a quick glaze with Imperial Sugar Confectioners Powdered Sugar and topped them all with some raspberries.
If this doesn’t make your Monday Twilight Zone blues go away, I don’t know what else would. This certainly brightened up my day.
