Rich and creamy, these homemade pingüinos will take you back to your childhood.

I am going to take you way back with this recipe. Whether you called them pingüinos or hostess cupcakes, you were a happy kid ready to take on that creamy filling and chocolate ganache topping with a cold glass of milk.

Now, I am recreating that experience but with a homemade take. I used Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar to create these soft and fluffy chocolate cupcakes. For the filling and icing, I used Imperial Sugar Confectioners Powdered Sugar. The result was ten times better than store bought. This proves that homemade is always best. They were a hit!
