Hibiscus Strawberry Paletas

The first day of temperatures over 100°F is today. Summer camp is in full swing, temperatures have reached over 100 degrees already and requests for snacks at home are non-stop. I’ve been making lots of iced tea, homemade ice cream and now, I am making paletas to keep the snack and healthy dessert rhythm going.
Because we’ve been on an iced tea kick lately, I wanted to ease into paleta-making with one of my favorite tea flavors. Hibiscus tea!
To save a little time in the preparation, I used Tadin Hibiscus Tea bags. The process is easy. If you know how to make tea, then you know how to prep this hibiscus tea into a sweet syrup for your frozen treats. It’s simple and less messy than steeping whole hibiscus blooms. Concentrated hibiscus tea can stain countertops and clothes if you’re not careful. The tea bags make it a easy to just steep and discard.
I love to add bits of fruit to my paletas, these paletas hide slices of strawberry in every bite. But you can definitely replace with your favorite berry.
