Treat mom a very special brunch: Banana Pancakes with Brown Butter Dulce de Leche Sauce

Is it me or am I seeing brown butter everywhere these days?  Maybe it’s a fantasy of mine, but I think it’s becoming a trend if it isn’t one already.  I’m going to go ahead and embrace it and contribute to the deliciousness by making my very own banana pancakes with a very special brown butter dulce de leche sauce to drizzle over them.

Pancakes already taste wonderful with bananas as part of the ingredients, but brown butter dulce de leche sauce will make this recipe shine like no other

The sauce is made in under 10 minutes and can be refrigerated in a tight sealed jar.  You will want to make a big batch. Trust me! Besides pancakes, you can spread it on toast and crepes, dollop on oatmeal, decorate a cake and my favorite, drizzle over fresh fruit. You will love it!

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and guess what?  I will be making these for myself, my mother and any other mamas that want to join me in this breakfast-brunch spread.  It’s a great way to spoil Mom and a recipe easy enough the entire family can join in the making.  The best gift, don’t you think?

The secret to great-tasting pancakes and brown butter dulce de leche sauce is Land O’Lakes’ new product: Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil Plus Calcium and Vitamin D.  It’s spreadable, right out of the refrigerator with a great butter taste and a good source of calcium and an excellent source of vitamin.  Something our bodies need to build and maintain bone health. Simple ingredients always make the best meals.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the hard-working moms out there.  You are appreciated, you are loved and I hope you enjoy your day to the fullest.
