Living in Los Angeles, you bump into celebrities anywhere you go.  At the grocery store squeezing avocados, running at the beach with an antourage a few feet back, incognito at the bookstore (we know it’s you). I’ve seen my share of famous A, B and D list celebrities but Minions, never! Not until last week when my family and I had the opportunity to attend the yellow carpet premier of Dispicable Me 2.

With our cameras around our neck, our cell phones in hand and our GoGurts in our snack bags, we were ready for the big event and headed to The Gibson Amphtheatre in Universal Citywalk.

Go-Gurts can go anywhere with us. It’s a great snack.  We freeze them and go. By the time we are ready to enjoy them, their consistency is a smooth and creamy frozen treat.  Because Go-Gurts are low in sugar, that beats any sugary theatre treat.

Minions

Not only are they refreshing and delicious, they are a good source of calcium with vitamins A and D and available in 16 different varieties.  The day was sunny and by the time we had watched the adventures of Gru and his minons, the summer heat was full on.  Another perfect time to cool off with GoGurt.

The Despicable Me 2 afterparty was an added treat.  Full of carnival games, sweet treats and yes and even Gru’s Old Fashioned Jam was available.  Thank you Yoplait and Go-Gurt for such a memorable experience. Dispicable Me 2 is out in theatres July 3.  Don’t miss it!
