Swamp Planet Snacks and Dagobah Smoothie: Star Wars at The Hollywood Bowl

If you know me, you know that I am a huge Star Wars fanatic. And one of the highlights of my summer is attending the Star Wars Movies at the Hollywood Bowl.  The movie not only plays on the giant screen but the Los Angeles Philharmonic will accompany with the score conducted by David Newman. Isn’t that a treat?!

Whether you’re a Star Wars fan or not, you will enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the night sky.  We are guaranteed great weather and lots of Star Wars character sightings. Those are always fun.

Swamp Planet Snack Box includes: GimMe Organic Toasted Sesame Seaweed, Lark Ellen Vanilla Cinnamon Grain Free Granola Bites, Sprouts Jordan almonds, Cuties, Sprouts Peanut Butter Puffs, Izzio Bakery Rye Bread SunButter and Sprouts Organic Strawberry Preserves finger sandwiches and cheese and pretzel Goldfish Crackers.

My son has watched all the Star Wars movies numerous times but not quite like this.  He laughs when I tell him I used to camp outside the movie theater just to buy a ticket to the movie.  Those were the pre-internet days but I wouldn’t trade them for the world.

Because we are snackers, we will be taking a Swamp Planet Snack box to the show.  This box is similar to Luke’s Dagobah rations kit in The Empire Strikes Back, right before he meets Master Yoda for the first time.  One of my favorite scenes from the movie.

Mark Hamill recently reminisced on Twitter about his rations kit.  He said it was made up of Tic-tacs, sesame sticks and crackers, “airplane food.”

We decided to recreate a rations kit with foods a little more appetizing than “airplane food” and we had so much fun doing so.  We even went the extra step and whipped up some Dagobah smoothies with no artificial colors.

You still have a chance to catch Star Wars at The Hollywood Bowl, but don’t wait!  The show is only four nights and it’s one of the most popular of the season. See more information below and Just click on the link to get your tickets.  Don’t forget your snacks!
