- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon chipotle powder
- 1/8 teaspoon (pinch) ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 (15-ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
- Combine paprika, garlic salt, ground pepper, ginger, chipotle and cumin in a small bowl. Stir to mix evenly. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add garbanzo beans and fry evenly by stirring with a large spoon and shaking pan; about 15 minutes. Sprinkle seasoning mix over garbanzo beans and stir to distribute evenly; continue cooking for 2 minutes more. Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate and sprinkle with lime juice and lime zest. Serve immediately.
