Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Real California Plain Yogurt
  • 2 chipotle chiles in adobo
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt

    Ingredients for wraps:

  • 1 pound large peeled shrimp (with or without tails)
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Real California Butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 heads butter lettuce (16 leaves), rinsed and patted dry
  • 2 cups shredded purple cabbage
  • 16 cilantro sprigs
  • ½ cup Real California Cotija Cheese
  • Lime slices for serving

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Transfer to a salsa bowl.

    Directions for shrimp:

  2. Place shrimp in a large bowl. Add paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir to coat shrimp.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and shrimp. Cook evenly for 3 minutes or until cooked through. Add lime ice and immediately remove from heat. Transfer shrimp to a bowl and remove shrimp tails if needed.
  4. Arrange lettuce leaves on a serving plate top with cabbage, 2-3 shrimp, a drizzle of chipotle yogurt sauce, cilantro sprig and a sprinkle of cotija cheese. Serve with lime slices for juicing.
