Ingredients
6 bananas, unpeeled, sliced lengthwise
½ cup Real California Butter, melted
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup Real California Mexican crema
1 tablespoon confectioner’s sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
½ cup chopped pecans
Real California Vanilla Ice Cream for serving
Instructions
Preheat grill to 350°F.
Brush melted butter on cut side of bananas. Place on grill rack, cut side down. Close lid and grill for 8 minutes.
Stir together remaining butter, cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.
Using metal tongs, turn banana halves cut side up. Brush with cinnamon sugar mixture and grill for 5 minutes.
While bananas finish grilling, stir together Mexican crema, confectioner’s sugar and cocoa powder in a small bowl.
Place bananas on serving plates, drizzle with chocolate crema, a sprinkle of chopped pecans and a scoop of ice cream.
