Mojo de Ajo Spaghetti with Green Beans

A delicious, time-saving meal: Mojo de Ajo Spaghetti with Green Beans
If you’ve never made mojo de ajo, I highly recommend it as a quick way to elevate the flavors of your favorite dishes. It is a toasted garlic and buttery combination with a hint of citrus. Sounds heavenly, doesn’t it?
This quick sauce can be cooked with seafood, chicken, vegetables and in this case, pasta. My ingredient of choice is Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt. It’s perfectly seasoned with salt for this dish. I only add black pepper, dried chili flakes for spice and a touch of fresh parsley for color and freshness.
To make this delicious dish a bit more complete, I added cooked green beans. If you are not a fan of green beans, you can use mushrooms, broccoli or cauliflower. Shrimp works great too.

Description
Delicious buttery and garlicky spaghetti noodles and green beans. This meal can be prepared quickly any day of the week.
Ingredients
8 ounces spaghetti
1/3 cup Land O Lakes Butter® with Olive Oil & Sea Salt
10 garlic cloves, chopped
¼ cup olive oil
1 lime, juiced plus more for serving
½ cup chopped white onion
2 cups cooked green beans
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
Instructions
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat a large sauté pan over medium-low heat. Add Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt and stir until melted. Add garlic and olive oil. When garlic begins to brown, add lime juice and remove from heat.
Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of garlic oil mixture to pan. Add onion. When onion is translucent,about 1 minute, add green beans and cook for 1 minute. Remove pan from heat.
Return garlic oil pan to medium-low heat. Add cooked spaghetti and green bean/onion mixture. Stir to combine. Add black pepper, crushed red pepper and parsley. Cook for 2 minutes. Serve with a squeeze of lime juice.
