Ginger snowball cookies for your holiday cookie box

These ginger snowball cookies didn’t last very long in my house. They disappeared quickly, so I made another batch. Again, gone by the next day.

Because they were so irresistible, mainly by me, I decided to make these once again and package them up into edible gifts. These powdery delights will be the newest members of my 2020 holiday cookie box I like to give to my family and friends.

Baking cookies has become quite the therapy for me. It’s inexpensive and you get cookies after a good session. It’s 2020, mom will stay in Texas and won’t be spending the holidays with us and I am coping. So I am trying my best to spread cheer in the most delicious way.

I am really in love with these cookies because they a combination of Mexican wedding cookies with a touch of ginger. The best of both worlds and they scream holiday cheer to me.

The sweet and the ginger are perfect. Not too much. I used Imperial Sugar Dark Brown Sugar to pair up with the ginger flavor in the cookie dough and Imperial Sugar Confectioners Powdered Sugar for their snowy topping.

If you are baking cookies this holiday season, I suggest you add these little ginger morsels of sweet to your baking schedule.
