Description

These refreshing jarritos will cool you off during the hot summer months. Made with three different kinds of citrus juice, tequila blanco and grapefruit soda. 


Ingredients

Scale

chamoy to rim jarritos (optional)

chile lime salt to rim jarritos (optional)

1 1/2 freshly squeezed cups orange juice

3/4 cup grapefruit juice

1/2 cup lime juice

4 ounces tequila blanco, divided

2 cups grapefruit soda, divided

Slices of citrus fruit to garnish


Instructions

Place chamoy in a shallow bowl and chile lime salt in a separate shallow bowl or plate. Dip the rim of each jarrito in chamoy then in chile lime salt.  Set aside.

Combine orange, grapefruit and lime juice in a small pitcher; stir to mix well.

Add a few ice cubes to jarritos.  Fill halfway with citrus juice mixture, 1 ounce tequila each and top with 1/2 cup grapefruit soda; stir to mix well. Garnish with slices of citrus fruit. Serve and enjoy!
