Christmas Old Fashioned
My cocktail of choice has been the Old Fashioned for quite some time now. I’ve had my share of some amazing ones and some that were pretty awful. Once, I had one with beets in it. It sounded like a good idea at the time and the bartender was pretty excited to concoct one for me. I smiled and sipped. Bad choice.
An Old Fashion Christmas with a Christmas Old Fashioned
I try to keep mine pretty simple. No cherry, double orange peel twist and a splash of water. Pretty standard. Since Christmas is around the corner, I decided to go wild with my Old Fashioned and give it a holiday twist.
Seasonal fruit such as cranberries and pomegranate are muddled into the drink. Sweetened with Amoretti Pomegranate Premium Syrup is the touch of pomegranate that gives this Old Fashioned its pomegranate flavor. It is delicate and flavorful.

To give it just a little bit more of a festive touch, I adorned this cocktail with sugared cranberries and rosemary sprigs. The presentation is beautiful, the aroma is soothing and the taste is rich and perfect. I call it Christmas in a glass.
The celebrations this holiday season will be just a bit more cheerful with this cocktail. You can purchase Amoretti Premium Syrups online and make your very own flavored cocktail. Their syrup variety will keep you experimenting with new cocktails for a very long time.
