Our week has been a very successful one. It’s been full of home projects that have been pushed down in our to-do list for many, many weeks. We picked a week in our calendar, blocked it off and decided to tackle as many projects as we could. A small dent in our list was made and yes, we added more projects to it as we went along and noticed new fixes. Our projects included fixing a leaky toilet, silencing a squeaky wooden chair, buying a new refrigerator (which included cleaning out the old one and setting up the new one), and last but not least, cleaning up our garden bed. Sometimes to purchase needed items, sometimes to exchange items that were initially purchased but later exchanged because we purchased the wrong ones. A typical home improvement routine.

When we were able to eliminate those to-do items, we just had to celebrate all the adulting we did for the week. It was exhausting and we just had to indulge in something we love.
