Ingredients
Scale
- One (9.9 ounce) container ready made rice pilaf, warmed according to package instructions
- One (2.5 ounce) pouch seasoned tuna with lemon and pepper
- Lettuce leaves (I used artisan lettuce)
- Cherry tomatoes
- Carrot slices
- 1 string cheese, sliced
- seaweed
- fish shaped crackers and prezels
- granola bites
- blue berries
- chocolate dipped mushroom shaped cookies
Instructions
- Spread out half the rice pilaf on a piece of plastic wrap, top with half the tuna. Using the plastic wrap, stuff the tuna in the middle of the rice, making a ball and twisting the ends of the plastic wrap to seal the rice ball. Place in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Arrange lettuce leaves on a bento box or lunch container. Add tomatoes, carrots, cheese slices and crackers on one side of the container. Add apple, blueberries, cookies and granola bites on the other side of the container. Remove the rice ball from the refrigerator and shape into a bear. Place back in refrigerator for 10 minutes or until shape is set.
- Make face with a slice of string cheese cut in half for the years. Use another slice and place in the middle of the bear’s face, top with cut seaweed in the shape of the bear’s nose . Use bigger circle cutouts for the eyes.
- Repeat with remaining rice and tuna to make second rice ball.
- Serve with your favorite juice.
Notes
Use cookie or bento box cutouts or small scissors to cut out small shapes.
