The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is back!  Beginning March 2 to April 12, 2018, you will have the opportunity to experience the flavors and fare inspired by the Golden State.  The culinary festival will bring delicious cuisine, specialty beverages and exciting entertainment to guests of Disney California Adventure Park.

This six-week event will feature daily culinary experiences and activities to try as attendees explore the festival.

There is something tasty for every member of your family, including unique food and beverage offerings to sip and savor at more that a dozen Festival Marketplaces. From presentations to demonstrations with celebrity chefs such as Guy Fieri, Robert Irvine, Alex Guarnaschelli and Shaun O’Neale.  There will be food and beverage tastings, winemaker dinners, beer, wine and spirit seminars and more.  Let’s not forget live entertainment and special activities to keep the California vibe going throughout the festival.

Each Festival Marketplace features a California-grown ingredient.  From avocado to strawberries, citrus, peppers and artisanal cheese.  Let’s not forget locally brewed craft beers and wines from all over the Golden State.  My favorite was the Spiced Oumph!® on Pita with Green Hummus and Garlic Sauce.  I loved that it is a plant based dish based on the chicken Shawerma.  You would never notice the difference.

If you are a fan of cooking demonstrations then this festival is for you. Visit the Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land on select days for featured demos.  From growing your own vegetables to learning how to prepare some of the festival marketplace favorites.

If your kiddos like to cook, Chef Goofy will be available to lead a complimentary hands-on Junior Chef Experience.  Kids 3-11 years old can follow a recipe and mix a variety of ingredients to create magical treats that ends with a tasty surprise.

I was invited to Disney California Adventure Food & Wine opening day to sample the festival’s menu and to spend a fun day at Disney California Adventure.  All opinions are my own.  Thank you for supporting the brands that make this website possible.
