- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 4 tablespoons Nesquik Chocolate flavor powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cup nonfat buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- cooking spray
Instructions
- Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, Nesquik, ground cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
- Combine buttermilk, butter and egg in a separate bowl, lightly whisk to combine.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and whisk, mixing ingredients thoroughly.
- Heat pan or griddle over low-medium heat. Spray with cooking spray.
- Pour ¼ cup batter onto the hot pan. Wait for pancake to begin bubbling and edges to cook, then flip over. Approximately 60 seconds on each side. Place cooked pancakes on a separate plate and repeat with remaining batter. Grease pan as needed.
- Serve with maple syrup.
Notes
Garnish with banana slices or fresh berries.
