orange dream

Now that the school year is in full swing.  I can finally breathe a sign of relief when I can say that we’ve finally established a week day routine that is effective for my six year old son.  Because Kidnergarten was such a big change in our daily lives, the new discipline has taken some getting used to.

I’ve comfirmed how effective establishing a new routine is for a family by visiting the new Toma Leche website.  It not only contains great tips for moms but also focuses on advice for a healthy lifestyle and tasty but simple to follow recipes to prepare for you family with the benefits of milk.

Our new afterschool routine now has to make time for play, snack, homework, bonding, bathtime and early to bed.  As you can see, there is lots to do in just a few hours. But now with our set schedule, repeating the routine over and over and the right attitude, we’ve finally managed to get everything done just in time.

One of our favorite breakfast and afterschool snack drinks is this ensueño de naranja or dreamy orange beverage.  This recipe plus other quick treats can be found  their new website and it contains all the benefits of milk and orange juice.  Plus, it has practically no added sugar and it’s quick and easy.
