wilton pot

Valentine’s Day is two weeks away and this is around the time I start to contemplate what I should plan for the day.  Because restaurants are overpriced and takes months to get a dinner reservation at a descent time. We usually celebrate it as a family at home and indulge in something sweet and watch a fun movie.  My husband an I either celebrate the holiday as a couple the day before or after, calmly and when there is a baby sitter available.

This Valentine’s Day, we will be preparing candy melt coated everything with thanks to Wilton’s Candy Melts Candy Melting Pot.  Ready in just 10 minutes, the Wilton Candy Melts of your choice are ready to be poured over your favorite treat.  From strawberries, to cookies to potato chips.  Anything that is dunkable will make its way into the candy melting pot and get coated with Wilton Sprinkles, Jimmies or my favorite, nonpareils.

Besides the fact that we can create beautiful Valentine’s Day treats, what I love about this tool is that it stays cool to the touch and has a safety light that indicates when the pot is on and has rubber feet to keep the pot in place.  Great to for a supervised kids project or just a fun time at home.

Clean up is a breeze because the pot is made with a soft scilicone that can invert when the candy melts have cooled and hardened.  When inverted, the candy pops right out without a mess.

There is no need to purchase expensive chocolate covered strawberries.  Prepare them at home and create wonderful memories with your family that are sure to last a lifetime.
