Halloween Cinnamon Sugar Crisps with Sweet and Fluffy Blueberry Dip
The months of October and November are very special for our family. We not only celebrate Halloween and Day of the Dead but we also celebrate our 5 year-old’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. Our days are busy with planning parties, dinners, setting up altars and getting costumes ready for trick-or-treating. My son’s birthday party is usually a costume party decorated with ghosts, witches and ghouls and special Halloween treats and desserts are served. A full on Halloween party menu is planned with easy Halloween recipes for kids and activities such as bobbing for apples and arts and crafts.
Planning a themed party menu is not a difficult task. I usually put my thinking cap on and come up with simple treats with a few ingredients from my kitchen. These cinnamon sugar crisps are great sweet party appetizers that can double up as dessert crisps. With cute Halloween cookie cutters and flour tortillas, a party dip can turn into a conversation starter with Halloween shaped cinnamon sugar crisps for dipping.
