Dole California Cook-Off
Come and enjoy an afternoon of grilling and fun at the sixth annual Dole California Cook-off! Celebrity Chef Ben Ford will start off the event with one of three cooking demonstrations featuring one of our favorite ingredients: grilled juicy DOLE fruit!
When: Saturday, June 28, 2014, 11am-3pm
Where: Santa Monica Place, Center Plaza
What: Celebrity Chef Ben Ford, Executive Chef and Proprietor of Ford’s Filling Station and author of the newly released Taming the Feast will lead an esteemed panel of guest judges and demonstrate a variety of grilled dishes on stage while competitors prepare their dishes. Local Mixologist and owner of This Girl Walks Into A Bar will offer summer cocktail tips throughout the day and the 2013 Cook-Off Champion, food blogger Ally Phillips, will host the entire affair.
The highlight of the afternoon will be the Cook-Off where one of three regional chefs will have the opportunity to win $25,000! Stop by and say hello! I will be there as cheerleader and sous-chef to one of the competitors.
