A Tamalada with Princess House
This is part of a sponsored campaign with Latina Mom Bloggers and Princess House. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
La Navidad just isn’t Navidad without tamales. This year Princes House, challenged me to prepare tamales with a few blogger friends of mine. When you put this special group of friends in a room with a table covered in food, the event turns into a party.
With our favorite tamale fillings at hand, aprons on and sleeves rolled up, we created a feast worthy of holiday indulgence. Assembly line-style we spread the masa, spooned on the filling and folded these special treats ready to be steamed in the versatile Princess House stainless steel stock pot. This special stockpot comes in 8-quart up to 30-quart. Since I’m so limited on kitchen storage space, the 15-quart sized stockpot was the perfect size just for me.
Our delicious spread included tamales stuffed with chile colorado, vegetables and mole. Sides included rice, salad and a few trays of pan dulce and cupcakes. Each one of us contributed with our own special recipe and masa-spreading tips. This was the perfect occasion to test out the Princess House stock pot with a group with different cooking styles and recipes.
Check out the other products by Princess House, they have something special just for you and your cooking style.
