Caramelized Figs with Vanilla Ice Cream Topping

Makes 1 cup

Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon honey

2 vanilla beans or 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

8 large figs, halved or quartered

1 pint Signature Reserve ™ Madagascar Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Instructions

Melt butter in a small saucepan over low-medium heat. Stir in honey and vanilla. Add figs cut side down and cook for 5 minutes. Stir and continue to cook until figs begin to soften. Remove from heat. Use as topping on Signature Reserve ™ Madagascar Vanilla Bean ice cream.
